Jairam! A basket ball champion.

Son of a martyr who fought for the country and lost his life. Having brought up by his mother, who is an industrialist, Jairam longs for love and affection. His mother finds no time for him as she keeps busy with her professional schedules and in taking up business trips to various countries.

Jairam is sent out of the college on charges of a baseless blame, for none of his fault. Using his mother's influence, he joins the college where Farah is a student.

Farah, who is the daughter of Mustafa, a bakery owner takes interest in Jairam and admires him as a basket ball champion.

On the opening day of the college, a rowdy student becomes hostile against Jairam and batters him up. Taking pity on him, Farah arranges for him to learn boxing through her father. Gradually, their friendship blossoms into love. Though Jairam's mother and Farah's brother oppose, Farah's father encourages their love.

Jairam's mother organizes a boxing competition in which, a boxer excels out as a champion and places a challenge that there is none in India to out beat him. Jairam opposes this and accepts the challenge.

Knowing that Jairam cannot be defeated directly, they conspire to defeat him in indirect ways.

The rest of the storyline forms a thrilling climax as to how Jairam confronts them all and becomes a winner and how the love affair between him and Farah ends up successfully.
