Everyone is worried as Thavasi is in deathbed. Sitthan appears before Umadevi and reminds her to go back to ThiruvUmadevi temple. Umadevi feels dejected for Thavasi‟s health condition. Sitthan promises her to save Thavasi only if she is willing to go to temple and be there forever. Umadevi agrees to him.

Ullaganathan seeks help from Umadevi to get away from the crime. But she goes to an extent of filing a case against him. Ullaganathan plans to murder Umadevi. So he bribes a liftman in the hospital and disconnects the lift cable while Umadevi and Shanthi are inside the lift. Shanthi gets wounded to save Umadevi.

Valli pleads Umadevi to help Ullaganathan. So she takes him on bail. But he has to pay a penalty of Rs.3 lacs. Meanwhile Gandhimathi gets out from coma. But still she is pretending to be in coma in order to find out the evil plans of nurse and Bharkavi. Except Valli no one knows that Gandhimathi has come out of coma.

Ullaganathan asks help from Nurse and Bhargavi to pay the penalty and they are not helping him. Instead they suggest Ullaganathan to sell the property by getting Ganthimathi‟s fingerprint. Gandhimathi feels extremely hurt for being betrayed by her own son. Gandhimathi and Valli stealthily go out of the house stealthily with all the property documents. Gandhimathi hands over all the property documents to Umadevi and reveals that Bhargavi is the reason for Pattalathar‟s death and also for her adversity.

Meanwhile Anbalagan arrests Ullganathan. He takes him to his house to arrest Bhargavi and Nurse. When they are trying to escape, Anabalagan arrests them. Now, Ullaganathan realizes that Bhargavi and nurse are evil hypocrites.

Tamilarasi kills Santhanam by burning him with herself. Umadevi feels delighted being with her family. At that time Sitthan appears before and reminds her to go back to temple. Umadevi decides to surrender her to god ThiruvUmadevi. Except Shanthi no one knows about Umadevi‟s decision. Shanthi pesters Umadevi to be with the family, but she is stubborn about her decision.

Komathinayagam meets Ullaganathan and informs him that Umadevi has left to ThiruvUmadevi. He also tells about Satthappan‟s „annadhana’ function at ThiruvUmadevi temple. He comes to know that Umadevi is going to have food over there. So Ullaganathan plans to kill Umadevi by poisoning her food.

Umadevi is going out of the house without informing anyone. Later Umadevi‟s family members come to know about her whereabouts from Shanthi. So all of them are going ThiruvUmadevi temple in search of Umadevi.

Umadevi is performing a religious ritual called “girivalam” [walking towards the top of ThiruvUmadevi holy mount]. Then she attends Satthapan‟s annadhana. Ullaganathan poisons her food. While she is about have the food, the temple bull butts Ullaganathan and he dies. Umadevi goes to surrender herself to god. Her family members are crying her to come back. ThiruUmadevi god appreciates Umadevi for her sacrifice and faith. He instructs her to lead a happy life with her family. Umadevi returns home with her family.
