Sun Tv and Radikaa

Radaan Mediaworks, one of the biggest production houses in South India has made a mark in the history of Television Industry. Radaan in association with Sun TV has completed ten years; right from their very first project “Chithi” till “Chelamay” has created a massive record in the small screen. The huge hit from Chithi in the prime time 9:30pm slot has created a mutual success for Sun TV and Radaan. This set to be a beginning for Radaan, who with the acquaintance of Sun TV, came up with other hits like Annamalai, Chelvi, Arase and currently Chelamay. Apart from these, many other serials also proved successful under Radaan’s banner.

Radaan’s venture into game shows started with Koteeswaran, which was followed by many other successful game shows in all South Indian languages. Their entry into making telefilm “Siragugal” with Vikram and Mrs Radikaa Saratkumar in the lead got great admiration from the audience. Their work in the film industry made a mark with movies; Kannamoochi Yennada, Jithan, Thalaimagan, Jay Ram and currently Jaggubhai starring Sarathkumar and Shriya. The show started with Radikaa Saratkumar, chairperson of Radaan Mediaworks thanked her mother. Proceeding with that spoke director Bharathiraja, who introduced Radikaa into the film industry.

He compared her growth from her very first shot in the film “Kizhakae Pogum Rail” for the song “Pooverasam poo poothachu” till her recent Chelamay. C.J.Bhaskar, director of Chithi appreciates Radaan and thanks Sun TV, which gave the prime time slot. Radikaa Sarathkumar though has got many compliments feels that the accreditation she got from Kalaignar is the best. Talking about co-star Radikaa, Shivakumar tells that Chithi and Annamalai gave him a lot of appreciation in the small screen.

Radikaa though adorned various roles, speaks up that her favorite role was an old women character which she played in Annamalai. Dhina, the music director of serials tells that his favorite music was for Annamalai title song and thanks Radaan for giving this opportunity. K.S.Ravikumar, director of Jaggubhai which is being produced by Radaan Mediaworks conveys his wishes. Venu Aravind, Malavika and M.R. Radha Ravi compliments Radikaa on her success, producing quality serials, her confidence and respect for artists and technicians.

Director Sundar.K.Vijayan and Jawahar also thanked for the opportunity given to them and wished luck for Radaan. Director Samudrakani terms Radikaa as “Lady Superstar” and thanks Radaan for the opportunity. Actors Sivachandran, Anuradha Krishnamurthy, Ajay Rathnam, Latha, Sathyaraj and Ravikumar praised Radikaa Saratkumar for her performance. Actor Visu admires Radikaa for her good administration and commanding power. Actor Saratkumar talks about the dual role played by Radikaa in the serial Arase. Radikaa recalls that Kalanithi Maran complimented her performance for the telefilm Siragugal.

Ajay Vidyasagar, CEO Sun Network said that Radaan has created a mark in Sun TV for producing quality serials. Director Bhagyaraj congratulated Radikaa and terms her to be a very confident woman. Rajprabhu, a scriptwriter tells that he is a big fan of Radikaa and appreciated her works. Radikaa Saratkumar concluded the show as she spoke about her rapport she shared with other artists and technicians. She termed her only motto in life is to “laugh until you can”. Quoting that “team work works” she thanked the Radaan team and the audience.
