THIRUVALAR THIRUMATHI

Radaan Mediaworks India Limited produced an exciting and fun-filled game show exclusively for couples called Thiruvalar Thirumathi. This show was hosted by Jaishree, a popular South Indian actress. Her friendly approach and correct choice of words made her a perfect host. This show is all about the participants (couple) understanding each other with utmost love and affection. It comprises of four rounds. Before each round, the couples talk about their experience of how they prepared for the same.

In Round 1, they interact about their marriages, followed by a dance performance by the couple. By the end of Round 1 one of the couple is eliminated. In Round 2, also known as the Situation Round, where a situation is given to the couple and they have to solve it. An interesting point to note about this round is that the husband is disguised as the wife and vice versa. Based on the points each couple get, the prize money is equaled accordingly. There is elimination at the end of this Round and two couples get qualified for the Rounds 3 and 4. In Round 3, also known as the Mask Round, tests the love of the wife for her husband. Five men stand behind the mask and the wife has to find her better half. Round 4 tests the compatibility of the pair, through rapid questions.

The wives are questioned alone and later the same set of questions is asked to the husbands. Each right answer yield them extra points. After all the rounds are complete, the entire points are tallied and based on it the Thiruvalar Thirumathi title is presented along with prize and cash. This qualifies that one couple to the semi-final, followed by the finals. This show was a grand success and proved an entertaining one because of its interesting and innovative concept.
